I had my eye on this hotel once I settled into the Hotel Gambetta - externally it looked very similar but it was advertising single rooms from an incredible 15 Euros (approx. 10 UK Pounds or 20 US Dollars). To my untrained eye it looked little different to the Hotel Gambetta and I wanted to move on anyway so I thought I would give it a try.
Well, I survived the one night, I had no
Internet access (again) and in the morning I moved on. My advice to anyone else would be, even if you don't speak the language very well, as I don't, just keep going until you have actually been shown the room. If I had done that I would not have chosen to stay. But well, once I had payed the 15 Euros even though it was so little, I felt obligated to, for some reason.
BTW by this time I had been walking around Marseille during the day seeing the sights and noticing hotels - there were plenty around - I just hadn't focussed in yet to what I really needed for my stay.
So first thing in the morning off I went to my
fourth Marseille Hotel.
