Marseille 25/11/2006 - 10/12/06

The Motto of the City of Marseille: Actibus immensis urbs fulget Massiliensis. "By her great deeds, Marseille shines in the world".

This website describes a journey through Marseille, South of France beginning on the 25th November 2006 and lasting two weeks.

You will read of the places I stayed, the people I met and the food that I ate.

I found Marseille to be a lively, bustling, busy cosmopolitan city. Marseille is big enough to have something for everyone, along with a favourable Mediterranean climate, a beautiful port and, possibly, the world's finest fish stew - the Bouillabaisse.

Look around these pages.... just like Marseille, there are hidden nooks and crannies where you will find gems by being adventurous.
